Event Details

This Non-Fiction November we're taking on all 2,190 miles of the Appalachian Trail... in books! One book read is the equivalent of one mile hiked. Can we make it the entire way? Stop by the children's desk to sign up and grab your tracker. Every five books read earns you a small prize or entry into our grand prize raffle! Stop at the Children's desk to sign up.

Q: What age group is Nonfiction November for?
A: It's for everyone!

Q: How can I participate in Nonfiction in November?
A: Start reading Nonfiction books and stop by the library to get your Nonfiction tracker. After every 5 books you complete, you will earn a prize or an entry into our large prize drawings.

Q: How does the tracker work?
A: Color in one footprint for every nonfiction book you read and then return it to a librarian for a prize.

Q: I'm doing Nonfiction in November at my school, can I also do it at the library?
A: Yes, you are welcome to participate in Nonfiction November in both your school and at the library. If you miss your prize drawing at school, you are welcome to redeem your bookmark at the Uintah County Library.

Q: How long does Nonfiction November run?
A: Nonfiction November will start November 1 and end November 30.

Q: I found out about Nonfiction in November late, can I still participate?
