In order to support social distancing and in the spirit of the requests made by Governor Herbert and the Tri-County Health Department, the Library will be cancelling all events from March 23rd through April 4th. Updates will be posted as more information becomes available. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
What is TNT?
TNT is a group of Tweens and Teens in grades 6th-12th who are committed to making a difference in the library through volunteering, participation in the library, community outreach, recommending programs and implementing programs for local youth. The group meets twice a month throughout the school year and part of the summer vacation.
Weekly meeting consists of:
¨ Discussing, planning and implementing programs and activities.
¨ Working on designs, and prepping for upcoming TNT projects.
¨ Recommending materials for the library.
¨ Collaboration and design of the monthly Teen Newsletter.
¨ Arranging the Teen Zone and helping with displays.
TNT Mission Statement:
The Mission of TNT is to encourage tweens and teens to become life-long library users and become a positive force not only in the library but their community as well.
How do I join TNT?
Simply visit with your Teen Advisor in the Teen Zone to pick up an application. When your done filling it out, just drop it off at the library and you’ll be called back for an interview. New applications must be filled out every school year if you wish to continue with the program.
