Autobiography:

I was born and raised in New Jersey. I crossed the plains on a Grey Hound bus to attend Ricks College in ID. (Now BYU-I). I love to travel, cook, do family history, read, and write. I taught English at Duchesne HS and Roosevelt Junior High School. Together, Ron and I have six children and seven grandchildren.

Randy Merrill:

"The pleasure of reading two Children’s Book by N. Kerry Mitchell has been given to me.  The first, I read:  The Truth—I found to be profound.  It places Truth in a place in which I have never thought about before; at least in these words.  However; the second book I read, The Feast, has given me cause to ponder for many weeks.  My thoughts have returned again and again to this book and its’ story.  It puts into children's words something that I have felt to be true for a long, long time.  Hopefully, I will be sharing these stories with my grandchildren for many years.

Clair Poulson:

Kerry Mitchell has an amazing writing style that will be sure to enthrall young readers, I have thoroughly enjoyed them. She is an excellent storyteller with a wonderful imagination.
