This will be a workshop to talk about the process I used to teach my babies to read. I primarily used Glenn Doman's method. I will be bringing homemade and purchased materials and show what kind of books to look for for early reading. We'll talk about the myths surrounding baby learning (no, it doesn't steal their childhood!), early brain development, and how this method could be adapted to teach older children. Babies learn differently than older kids, and they are developing their basic vocabulary in tandem to reading. Let's talk about that!
