Come meet author Dennis Garcia!

Dennis Garcia is a writer living in Vernal, UT, a graduate of George Mason University and the NYU Law School, as well as a former associate at the Cato Institute.

His book, The First Knight, tells the story of ancient Rome’s last days as a world power and the man who fought to save the great empire, both from enemies without and fanatics within: Flavius Stilicho is called to Constantinople to serve in an elite bodyguard unit. Together with the barbarian prince Alaric, Flavius thwarts a plot to assassinate the emperor Theodosius. To win the hand of the emperor’s daughter, the princess Serena, Flavius must undertake a risky peace mission to Rome’s oldest rival. In his absence heretics and usurpers pull Rome toward civil war, while Alaric is tempted to rebellion.
